SHABAAZ SHAIKH SIR is an Indian born and a working Entrepreneur, and Business Consultant. Over past 4 years, he worked immensely in professional capacities in both, private and public sector. He did many projects and consulting apart from his specialized areas. He dreamt of GESA Foundation to be a genuine partner to organizations’ and government in making safe spaces for people.

Here Is A Glimpse Of His Journey: He is graduated in Science. Simultaneously completed Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from MSBTE and Post HSC Diploma in Fire Service Engineering (FR), along with enough international certifications like NEBOSH(IGC, HSW, HSL), IOSH MS, Civil Defence(Fire Fighting, Bomb safety), CIEH(Fire Safety, Risk Assessment), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) Safety, Heart saver® First Aid with CPR Certified by American Heart Association (AHA), Scaffolding Competent Inspector(STI)- USA, ISO 45001.

Along with the studies, Mr. Shabaaz joined L&T as a Safety Steward and then started a career in safety department. A Few years of experience as a HSE Officer and system security engineer in different industries which have helped him in understanding the ground reality, its distinct nuances concerning diverse sectors, its responses when exposed to various organisation cultures. The industries include Construction, Consumer Goods & Steel Manufacturing, Custom-s Airport, and Safety & Security Agency. He is also a member of Civil Defence Disaster management. He likes to travel and interact with people from different backgrounds. To him, these are opportunities to learn from communities, and benefit each other. Shabaaz runs many firms like Geotic Environment Safety and Security Alliance (Gesa) Private Limited, GESA Institute of Management & Technical Studies (GIMTS), Gesa East Engineering & Contracting Co.(Bahrain)-Gesa Offshore Engineering and Construction Private Limited(India); as well as having a varied interest in a number of diversified business ventures and start-ups across India and the Middle East.
